Hope and Encouragement: the theme words for Grace Presbytery's Youth in Mission Trip. These words come from II Thessalonians 2:16-17.
On Thursday, June 25, a group of 32 youth and adults representing nearly a dozen Grace Presbytery congregations will depart for an eleven day journey that will take us to Ankeny, a suburban community just north of Des Moines, Iowa. While there, it is our intention to be a source of hope and encouragement, not only for our ministry partners at Hope Ministries and Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity, but that we will be a source of hope and encouragement for all whom we meet as we travel across Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri.
